Senior Python Developer

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our team in Frankfurt.

What we expect from you

Experience

Development: A minimum of 8 years of experience in Python development
Database Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft SQL Database or other relational databases. Knowledge of data modeling, query optimization, and database administration. Experience in writing T-SQL, stored procedures, and query tuning. Experience with Azure SQL is an advantage.
API Integrations: Proven experience in integrating APIs. Familiarity with authentication methods.
Client/Server Development: Knowledge of the full spectrum of Software Development Life Cycle
Cloud Technologies: Hand-on experience with Cloud technologies (preferable Azure). Understanding of CI/CD process automation.

Skills

University Degree or equivalent (Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Automation, Business IT)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
Strong team-working skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work under pressure and establish priorities independently and as member of a team.
An internal drive to learn, improve, and stay updated with industry trend.
Willingness to share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to a learning culture.
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Familiarity with banking business processes and requirements is considered an advantage

Responsibilities

Develop software solutions in alignment with company standards and policies.
Actively engage in software development stages, including analysis, estimation, documentation, coding, bug fixing, quality assurance, and supporting the maintenance and implementation teams.
Ensure the quality of developed solutions by adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Support and guide fellow developers within the team.
Contribute to the design of solution architecture, overall improvements to the overall improvement of the application flow and integration with other systems.
Stay updated on industry trends. Regulations, and security standards to ensure compliance in all application and service developments.
