Data Architect – Bucharest

We are looking for a Data Architect to join our team in Bucharest.

What we expect from you

Skills & Experience

University Degree or equivalent (Computer Science, Engineering or Business IT studies would be a plus)
Strong technical skills in relational databases, data lakes, cloud data warehousing, data analysis and data architecture concepts.
Working knowledge of advance data analytics, AI and ML/DL
Open to gain knowledge and work with DevOps methodologies and Public Cloud services, like Microsoft Azure; any previous experience would be an advantage
Azure certifications are a plus.
Fluency in English language (spoken and written)
Availability to travel

Responsibilities

Collaborate with leadership to build and execute long-term strategic objectives for data architecture.
Architect high-availability solutions for data hosted on on-premises and public cloud for data redundancy, fault-tolerance, and disaster recovery.
Specialize in designing cloud-based data warehousing solutions, schemas, tables, views, and ETL/ELT processes to support Business analytics and reporting needs.
Lead proof of concept initiatives, conduct research on emerging technologies and create technology roadmap for data engineering.
Regularly assess the effectiveness of data solutions, iterate on industry best practices, and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.

Bucharest Office

From our Bucharest office, we ensure technical assistance and support IT projects, for different departments, such as Cloud and Infrastructure, DevOps or Applications Departments.
