Senior Applications Administrator – Skopje

We are looking for a Senior Applications Administrator to join our team in Skopje.

The main responsibilities of the position include support and maintenance of the core banking applications. Our new colleague will communicate with other team colleagues involved in a specific task and advise on guidelines based on best practices regarding areas connected to .Net Framework, SQL Server standards and Process Adherence. The role also involves the support of ongoing projects, and performing process and product definition as well as system upgrades on the production environment.

  • Test, change and deployment management of new releases.

  • Design and implement business and technical functionality parameterization in the core banking system

  • Define, program and implement SQL stored procedures and functions

  • Design, implement and maintain functional reports in Visual Studio, Reporting Services

  • Define, document, execute, and optimize processes to achieve maximum effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Consulting internal departments by implementing new functions.

  • Development of internal documentation related to software systems documentation.

  • Adjustment and support the interfaces to other core banking applications.

  • Set up and maintain test environment and coordinate testing cycle.

  • End user support.

Skills and experience

Skills and experience

  • Education in Computer Science

  • Overall 3+ years of application support or development experiences.

  • Good understanding of T-SQL programming

  • Knowledge of Microsoft products and Microsoft SQL Server tools

  • Good understanding of banking business processes

  • Fluency in English language, both spoken and written

  • Self-starter, well organized and motivated

  • Ability to work under pressure and establish priorities

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

  • Desire to learn and develop skills further

  • Responsible and reliable

  • Able to work across multiple projects simultaneously

  • Willing to travel
