Discovering the Quipu summer internship on LinkedIn sparked my interest, so I decided to apply. The online information was accurate and aligned with the actual program, with the added benefit of insights from former interns contributing to my confidence in pursuing the opportunity.
The Quipu internship proved instrumental in my career development as a Software Engineer. Through hands-on projects, exposure to real-world challenges, and invaluable mentorship, I acquired practical skills applicable in a professional setting. The mentorship and guidance I received played a pivotal role in my learning journey. The collaborative environment expanded my network and increased my confidence in navigating the complexities of a software development role.
Despite initial reservations about the six-month duration, the program not only met my expectations, but exceeded them, providing a rich and fulfilling experience. The part-time format allowed for a balanced approach, and the depth of the programme became obvious as I started working on projects, receiving assignments, and embracing challenges. Six months flew by in no time.

Another thing I appreciated were the in-person interactions, spontaneous laughter with colleaugues, and how daily meetings transformed the work environment into a dynamic and enjoyable space.
The comprehensive availability of resources played a pivotal role in supporting my work and learning. From tools to documentation, Quipu ensured that I had everything necessary to perform my role effectively, contributing to a smooth and enriching internship experience.
I thoroughly appreciated the structure of the program, especially the initial project, which acted as a mini version of the larger project I later dove into. This thoughtful approach provided an excellent introduction, allowing me to familiarise myself with the project, the work environment, and the underlying concept. The seamless transition from the initial project set a solid foundation for my learning, and I’m content with the overall program structure.
