Bachelor/master's degree in computer science/Informatics or equivalent technical area, or equivalent experience.
ISTQB Advanced level certificate would be a plus.
Technical skills
• Deep knowledge of OS platforms, networking, databases.
• Hands on experience in complex multi-platform systems.
• Deep knowledge of Automated Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Experience in software documentation - creating test plans, test reports etc.
• Experience in different types of testing activities.
• Capable of defining and estimating all needed testing activities for a long-term period (at least 6 months) for a large-scale team.
• Understanding of deployment topologies.
Process skills
• Deep expertise in applying project execution methodologies, such as Agile/Scrum/Kanban
• Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Proficiency in building and leading teams.
• Experience in working with geographically distributed and remote team members.
• Experience in working in a multicultural environment.
Soft skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong organizational and presentational skills
• Mature in interviewing and people assessment skills.
• Good multitasking skills.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English to articulate complex technical topics to non-technical colleagues.

• Able to drive alignment among team members and resolve personal conflicts.
Manages and coordinates the QA activities in all projects on company level.
Works closely with Product Engineering managers to ensure the best testing practices are implemented into the product development process.
Takes responsibility and acts as decision maker for project and team related matters.
Partner with product teams and develop test plans for each new release that includes test strategy for all new product functionality.
Improves testing process and participates in process improvement initiatives.
Knows and applies concepts, practices and procedures of supervision and leadership.
Actively monitors that all QA processes are followed.
Analyses testing process and QA metrics.
Provides regular status updates to the Operational Manager.
Participates in team performance measurement and improvement activities.
Prepares career goals and guidelines for employees and measures their results.
Acts as a people manager of individual team members.
Participates in the recruitment process.
