University degree, preferably in computer science or high school degree combined with relevant experience
5+ years of experience in IT relevant field
Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows based virtual infrastructures, HP hardware solutions and systems from the area of the focus solutions
Experience in hypervisor management (preferably Hyper-V and Nutanix), Windows administration, troubleshooting, upgrades, migration etc
ITIL Foundations level certification
Experience with monitoring and remote deployment systems – SolarWinds is a plus
Experience of working in project-based environments is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical and attentive to details
Fluent in English
Ability to work under stress and in complex environments
Availability to travel
Deploy, monitor and review performance of the virtualization infrastructure (Hyper-V and Nutanix)
Work with management tools (SCVMM, Prism Central, Prism Element, Failover Cluster Manager, PowerShell, acli)
Storage management – configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SAN storage systems
Data Backup and Recovery – develop and implement data backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. Perform regular backups and test recovery procedures
Ensures proper performance through monitoring, analysis and tuning, troubleshooting issues
Continuously documents the infrastructure and changes affecting it
Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services
Secures focus solutions according to the company policies, procedures and guidelines
Functions as a high-level point of escalation in the Incident and Problem management processes
Assists the Change Management process in assessing the impact of the non-standard requests for change
Assists the Availability Management and IT Continuity Management by providing data for projected service availability analysis for the focus solutions
Participates in the Capacity Management process with planning for future acquisitions and upgrades to equipment and software
